Best Price Guarantee Checklist
The prices need to meet these conditions…
- The lower rate you found must be for the same lounge, the same date(s) and the same package type and quantity that you purchased on LoungeBuddy.
- The lower rate must be for the lounge walk-up rate. Advance purchase rates are not valid.
- The lower rate must be available to the general public. AARP rates, AAA rates, military rates, corporate rates, etc do not apply.
- Rates offered through loyalty programs, memberships, elite status, through contests, coupons, or as a part of a travel package are not valid.
- The lower rate must still be available when your claim is submitted to [email protected]
- The lower price you found must be more than just a difference in taxes or fees.
- If the rate is in a currency other than USD, the difference must be more than 2% due to currency fluctuations.
- You can provide a link showing the lower price or a valid screenshot or photo with a valid timestamp that shows the lower price.
How do I submit a LoungeBuddy Price Guarantee Claim?
If you would like to submit a Price Guarantee claim, just email the LoungeBuddy Customer Support team by sending a new email to [email protected]
Include the following information in your claim:
- Email address associated with the booking.
- Your LoungeBuddy booking confirmation number.
- The price you paid for your LoungeBuddy booking.
- The lower price you found, where you found the lower price (include a complete link URL if you found the lower price on a website), and any other relevant information.
- Please attach a screenshot of the lower price to your email as well.
We’ll get back to you as fast as possible.
We reserve the right to deny claims that are suspicious and/or deemed to be fraudulent.
The LoungeBuddy Price Guarantee does not apply in the event of disasters, acts of terrorism, or other events outside of LoungeBuddy's control.
LoungeBuddy caps the amount of LoungeBuddy credits that can issued as part of a claim at $25.
If your transaction used LoungeBuddy credit or a LoungeBuddy discount code, we will first credit the amount of the refund back in the form of LoungeBuddy credit up to the amount of credit used in the transaction before we refund any other payment methods used.
Terms and Conditions
- Best Price Guarantee. In the unlikely event that you find a lower rate on LoungeBuddy.com, the LoungeBuddy App, on an airport lounge website, or at the front desk of a lounge within 24 hours of booking with LoungeBuddy, we will credit or refund to you the difference in price. In addition, we will give you a 25% (25 percent) credit (aka “Promo Code”) of the difference good on a future booking of a lounge available for sale on LoungeBuddy. The credit is valid for up to one (1) year from the date of issuance. This Best Price Guarantee is subject to the terms and conditions listed below.
- Travel must be completed in accordance with the booked lounge to be eligible to receive the refund or credit.
- Changed or cancelled bookings are not eligible to receive the credit.
- Notifying LoungeBuddy of a Claim. You must file a Best Price Guarantee request within twenty-four (24) hours after your LoungeBuddy booking to make a claim under the Best Price Guarantee. The lower rate must be available for booking at the time you contact us, as determined by our customer service representatives.
- Must be "Apples to Apples" Comparison. The Best Price Guarantee is available only for exact lounge and package matches. For example, the specific lounge, package type (4 hour visit), and customer type (adults, children) as booked through LoungeBuddy.
- The comparison must be to the same product purchased stand-alone through another website or at the front desk (i.e., not part of a travel package).
- The Best Price Guarantee is not available for bookings on websites where the booking details are unknown until after purchase. You must meet all requirements imposed on the lower price (if any), including, without limitation, residency, regional and age-related requirements.
- Comparison Rates Must Be Available to the General Public Online. The Best Price Guarantee applies only to prices both advertised and available to the general public on an English-language website or in person at the lounge. For example, this does not include rates offered on:
- Membership program websites, corporate discounts or rates
- Group, charter, rewards program, incentive, meeting, convention, consolidator or interline prices
- Prices obtained via auction or similar process
- Prices available only by using a coupon or other promotion not offered to the general public.
- If the comparison is in a currency other than USD, the other currency will first be converted into USD. The difference in the amount on LoungeBuddy site and the other site/lounge must be greater than 2% (2 percent) in order to qualify.
- The lower rate may not come from a website where you call to get the rate, or from an e-mail that you received.
- Verification of Claims. All requests, including receipts, are subject to verification by LoungeBuddy. LoungeBuddy will not accept screenshots or other purported evidence of a lower price that cannot be independently confirmed by LoungeBuddy personnel. Nor will LoungeBuddy verify any request that it believes, in its sole discretion, is the result of a printing or other error or is made fraudulently or in bad faith.
- Verified requests will first receive (1) a credit to the LoungeBuddy account when LoungeBuddy credit is used up to the amount of the credit used for the transaction and (2) any remaining credit due will be credited to the credit/debit card used for the booking, within approximately 7-10 days of verification.
- One (1) 25% future credit
- Three (3) credit codes per customer per calendar month (regardless of the number of accounts used by the customer or the number of bookings made by the customer).
- Each future credit is valid for one (1) year from month of issuance. LoungeBuddy reserves the right to render any credit void that LoungeBuddy issues in excess of these limits, or issued in error, or where the customer is found to be ineligible to receive a credit or has been deemed by LoungeBuddy to be abusing the Best Price Guarantee program for personal or financial gains.
