Virgin America Acceso al lounge

Virgin America was one of the largest airlines in the United States, before being acquired by Alaska Airlines in 2016. Virgin America operated out of hubs at SFO and LAX, and rewarded frequent flyer through the Elevate frequent flyer program. Their only lounge, The Loft at LAX, with its hip neon lighting, was truly a one of a kind lounge location during its heyday.

Virgin America's Programa lounge

Previously, Virgin America operated The Loft, which has since closed following their acquisition and absorption by Alaska Airlines. This lounge was open to full fare first class passengers on Virgin America flying on one of several eligible long haul routes from LAX to the East Coast. Additionally, Virgin Australia Velocity Gold and Platinum members, as well as Virgin America Elevate Gold members, had complimentary access. Lounge membership programs like Priority Pass, Lounge Club, and Lounge Key also provided access. Access was available to Virgin America Elevate Silver members at a discounted rate, while all other passengers could purchase access for $30. Outside of LAX, Virgin America passengers could purchase access to partner Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse locations in SFO, IAD, and JFK at rates that vary from $40 to $75.
